Dr. Skylor Morton is originally from Artesia, New Mexico. He attended Texas Tech University for three years, securing early admission to Creighton University School of Dentistry. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 2019, where he was honored with both the Department of Oral Surgery Award and the ICOI Dental Implantology Award.
After completing his dental education, Dr. Morton quickly embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, acquiring his first dental practice in Brentwood, Tennessee, and launching a startup in Gallatin, Tennessee. Over the years, he has focused on refining his clinical expertise, placing thousands of dental implants and accumulating more than 500 hours of continuing education in cosmetic and implant dentistry, full-mouth reconstruction, and IV sedation. His clinical interests are particularly centered on "All-on-X" procedures and comprehensive full-mouth reconstructions.
Dr. Morton is also deeply engaged in the business of dentistry. Recognizing a need in the industry for a model that combines the personalized care of private practice with the structure, resources, and career growth opportunities typically associated with corporate dentistry, he founded Morton Dental Group in 2023. His vision was to create a practice group that maintains clinical autonomy and prioritizes patient-focused care while offering the support and growth opportunities of a larger organization. Within just one year, Morton Dental Group became the fastest-growing privately owned dental group in Middle Tennessee, expanding to six locations and employing over 50 team members.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Morton enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and hunting. In 2024, he celebrated the birth of his first child, Leighton. Faith plays a central role in Dr. Morton’s life and practice, guiding his commitment to integrity, compassion, and excellence in patient care.
A Southern California native, Caitlin and her husband moved to Nashville nearly a decade ago, drawn by the city’s music scene. They quickly made it their home and haven’t looked back since! Caitlin joined Morton Dental Group in 2023, bringing over 14 years of experience in leading successful teams and fostering operational excellence.
Before her role with Morton Dental Group, Caitlin excelled as a Regional Development Manager for a national Dental Service Organization (DSO) in Middle Tennessee. There, she cultivated expertise in scaling operations, expanding markets and implementing innovative, people-centered strategies. Recognized for her strategic vision and dedication to fostering purpose-driven workplaces, Caitlin is passionate about elevating industry standards and creating environments where teams thrive.
When she is not collaborating with her dental teams, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her husband and son, cooking, taking walks and actively participating in her church community.
Hannah Scarlett, a Winchester, TN native, is a dedicated professional with a passion for driving operational excellence in the dental industry. A 2018 graduate of the Academy of Dental and Medical Educators, Hannah has gained extensive experience working with Dental Support Organizations (DSOs) across clinical and operational capacities.
Her expertise in revenue cycle management blossomed during her tenure as Manager of the Revenue Cycle Department for a large specialty DSO, where she successfully supported operations across seven states. Known for her ability to foster strong partnerships and implement streamlined processes, Hannah is highly regarded for her accuracy, efficiency and innovative problem-solving skills.
Outside of work, Hannah values time with her family and her two beloved dogs, Alfie and Scout. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, she devotes her free time to supporting her family business while maintaining her passion for personal growth and community engagement.
